Question by : What skin care brands do dermatologists advise most?
I’m looking for a new skin care regimen for my acne. I’m organizing on going to the dermatologist in many months but I just want to know what brands physicians like and what brands they say to stay away from. Value is not genuinely an concern so feel cost-free to name any product.

this doesn’t answer your question exactly but thought you might be interested…
Beta carotine (vitamin A) is the active ingredient in accutane, so instead of spending a lot of money on a harsh perscription that gives weird side effects, just pick up some beta carotine at your local drugstore for like $ 15
I started using the regimen mentioned in the link below (beta carotine plus honey mask) and my skin is already improving!

Depends on the doctor and their personal preference.
Sensible diet, good hygiene and low stress should keep acne away. Use great OTC acne products like “Niapads”, “Cetaphil” etc that are simple and easy to use. The most effective product is one that is “simple” to use™. Multi-step treatments are difficult to follow and prolong acne.
For eg – with Niapads (Nicotinamide acne pads) you can cut a piece, wet it with water and place it on the pimple. Active ingredients in Niapads penetrate the skin and provide acne relief. They also are effective in reducing skin hyperpigmentation (acne scars).
Use the gentle scrubbing action for pore cleansing, exfoliation and overall acne relief. Contains Lavender oil – well known moisturizer. Niapads worked for me, try it.
